Let It Snow....
I'm a week late in posting these but I finally found the time (if my kids will cooperate!). It snowed last Sunday. The kids (ok, and myself) were ecstatic to see the white stuff. It was beautiful. The only down side was telling the kids the next morning that school wasn't canceled but just delayed 2 hours. Something about snow and the desert doesn't let it stick around for long. The kids couldn't stop playing outside. They kept asking for gloves and I kept telling them that when I packed for the DESERT I wasn't thinking of winter gloves.
We got a good covering of the ground. The kids had fun with snowballs.
Can you see Georgia shivering in the second picture?
Ok, a picture of me. You can't really see the snow but it was at the beginning of it all. By the time the kids came home from school the only bit of snow left was on our balcony where the sun couldn't reach. They lovingly pelted their Dad with it the next day.

Such crazy weather everywhere this year! (But noooo -- global warming is just junk science, right? LOL!) It looks like you all enjoyed it. :)

I was thinking the same thing. LOL. I think even BUSH touched on it. I swear my science teacher in HIGH SCHOOL (um think mid 80's) was talking about it all the time.
