Top TV Viewing Pleasure....

My top TV shows I love to watch. Some recent and some not...

  1. Grey's Anatomy -- Man, do I love this show. I even have my hubby addicted to this show. I could say I love it because of McDreamy but to tell the truth, George ... well, the whole crew crack me up. Drama and humor at its finest. Must watch TV on Sunday nights for us.
  2. Survivor -- Top ranked reality show. I do love watching everyone make a run for a million and I love to see how many get their feelings hurt because someone lied to them. Um, yes, they have known you less than 39 days and they are wanting a MILLION dollars, no personal ties to ya, get the money. I can't imagine going into that show thinking I wouldn't be lied to. My must watch show on Thursday. Woo-hoo!
  3. Clean Sweep -- Ok, I do not clean house very well but I love watching this show cause I can at least say my house is not THAT bad. LOL. Not that I wouldn't love someone to come and clean out and redo my house. I also love Peter Walsh's accent. swoon. TLC, baby!
  4. M*A*S*H -- I just love this show. I adore Alan Alda. I own season 1 on DVD. I watch it when I can catch it. I love all the characters. I laugh, I cry... even after watching it over and over.
  5. Numb3rs -- Ok, I really tuned in because of Rob Morrow (played on Northern Exposure which is another top rated show in my book). I love Judd Hirsch. Some fo the story lines are weak but I love the Dad and sons interaction. Not too fun to watch with my computer savvy hubby (he also likes to point out that my major crush I on George Michael 17 years was destined to fail since he is gay... hard to explain that I didn't care). He just accuses me of watching cause of the long haired mathmatician... well, maybe but Rob called me there first. LOL. Love Friday night!

I'm sure there are tons more but I'm tired. What are your favorite shows?

Ms. Fix It

Let me ask a few questions.....

  1. Could I fix the toilet that is leaking and costing me precious money every month? No.
  2. Could I fix my sink which is leaking? The disposal is broke. To get it to work I have to run an extension cord from the plug of the disposal to a plug in in the wall and then do it very fast cause it will spray water everywhere in my kitchen. Nope, I can't do that.
  3. Could I fix my sons room up so that he has some doors for privacy? Nah, too easy.
  4. Could I fix my computer hates me and runs massively slow? No way.
  5. What about my car that makes this awful noise since dh hit a dead animal? Ain't gonna happen.

So what can I fix?

  1. Broken dolly arms
  2. Invisible boo-boo's
  3. A simple snack for starving kids
  4. A sock that has magically come off the foot when it shouldn't
  5. A pant leg that is messed up
  6. Hair 5 seconds before they have to leave for school
  7. A book that just won't stay put

So far most of the problems my 10, 8, 5 and 2 year olds have.... I hope it stays that way for a little longer. Makes me feel like a Ms. Ty Pennington.

When It Rains, It Pours....

My hubby went out of town last week. I swear if the kids had anything going on this year it all happened last week. Everything from dance, gymnastics, taekwondo, church, brownies, UMW meeting, Dr. appointment, more taekwondo (testing for that blue belt)... on top of that it was HOT. Ok, not summer hot but not fall cool. Do you know how short tempered you can get when it is in the 80's and humid? I refuse to turn on the A/C in the middle of NOVEMBER! Oh, and the van died so I was running around with 4 kdis in a SL Saturn. With 2 carseats my kids were not comfortable, well the older ones weren't. AND I got some house work done. I was so motivated that week. Now, I haven't even done a load of laundry. sigh. life. We all survived.

Thanksgiving is upon us. Now we juggle where we go for the holiday season. Some of the family wants to do but doesn't know when. Others are scheduled and ready to go. While another side says ok, but.... I think the holidays are all about family (the good, the bad AND the ugly) but it is so hard making everyone happy. I don't even want to thinking about Christmas. I'm not looking forward to all that cooking but love to have family and friends around to poke fun at my attempts. ~grins~ I hope everyone is ready and got a turkey ready to go. Dh is going to attempt cooking said turkey ala "Good Eats" way (show from the cooking channel). I'll let you know how it goes.
